I will try that and see if that allows me to log in at least. When I experience this I restart openvas manager.../etc/init.d/openvas-manager restart The downside to that for me is that any running scan gets stopped, but I can login via the web interface at this point. I start up a scan that is someone big in size. I refresh the page throughout the day and it seems work okay...for the most part. I come in the next day to look at the results of the scan, and the page refuses to log me in. It just sits there and spins like it's trying to log me in and it never lets me. I stop/start the service and it just doesn't let me in. I see that my scans are still running and my utilization is FAR from being maxed out. The server has 24 cores with 96GB of RAM and barely blinks an eye. The only way to really launch the page again to allow it to work is to reboot the server. Anyone experiencing this issue or perhaps things to look for that might cause it from not working? The only error I get in gsad.log is this "MHD: Failed to receive data: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated." And this is only presented when I go to the page. It doesn't throw any errors when I put my credentials in and hit "submit". Currently, I have a chrome extension that is refreshing the page every five minutes to keep anything from timing out. Not sure how that's going to work but I don't want to get stuck at the loading page and have to restart the server every time. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!
