Can anyone tell me or discuss why OpenVAS runs SQLITE instead of using MySQL as the backend or perhaps something different? I understand the portability of it, but in a higher asset environment...I would think you would want something that would allow better write ability. I am just curious if anyone can explain to me why this was chosen or how we can use MySQL as the backend?
