Hi,

Yes, changes mentioned below worked for me.after that I tried to install and I
am able to install openvas-smb.

Below are the packages I have downloaded.

openvas-libraries-8.0.1.tar.gz
openvas-scanner-5.0.1.tar.gz
openvas-manager-6.0.1.tar.gz
greenbone-security-assistant-6.0.1.tar.gz
openvas-cli-1.4.0.tar.gz
openvas-smb-1.0.1.tar.gz

I want to know in which order I should compile and install openvas packages?

Thanks,
Deepak Jha

Hi Deepak Jha,

Apply this patch to fix compiling under centos 7 / rhel 7. it's hack solution,
but works for me.

Hi,

Heimdal (epel) packages install heimdal libraries to /usr/lib64/heimdal, so
cmake cannot find them. ideas how to fix this?

Hi,

You need to install heimdal version of gssapi. Looks like centos 7 provides
only mit version that does not work with openvas-smb.

Hi,

I am trying to compile openvas 8 source package on Cent OS 7.When I try to run
CMAKE inside openvas-smb- it always says Heimdal-GSSAPI not found even
Heimdal-GSSAPI is installed.

May I know list of packages to be installed before running CMAKE.

Thanks,
Deepak jha
