trying it out.J I created a python script as well that is called upon through
a PHP page that can be clicked to create the job and scan it. I use it for
machines that we create a ticket for. I can then just click scan on the PHP
page and it scans it. Had to use a couple Python scripts for it since my
OpenVAS is on a different server than my IR server. ;) But I will definitely
try yours out for network equipment and see how it runs.

Hello: I have been using Openvas in conjunction with my pen testing training,
including OSCP training. I created a simple Python script to create and kick
off Openvas scans for IP addresses in a file. It's on Github:
https://github.com/hhvn/openvasrun It throttles the scans so not too many
run. Any comments would be great. I know it's not perfect performance-wise
and I'm new to Python but have experience with other languages. Enjoy! Andy
