Hi all, I am having issues with a slave not starting a task triggered by the master but rather keeps it in state "New".
When looking at the process, before starting any task it shows: root 3424 12.7 1.1 108852 24616 ? Ss 16:13 0:46 openvassd: Reloaded all the NVTs. instead of: root 3324 1.6 0.6 108916 24576 ? Ss 17:39 0:40 openvassd: Waiting for incoming connections When starting a Task locally on the Slave, it also ends in state "New" and can not even be started manually. I ran "openvasmd --rebuild" but it did not complete within about an hour. The configuration has been working perfect until last week friday running a scheduled scan successful, but unintended stopped working last sunday when another scan was scheduled to run. I did not find anything related to the above in the log files. Any help is very welcome.
