Hi,

Thanks for your response

Yes OpenVAS is configured correctly and everything fine .Once I copied tasks.db
from old server to new server (want to migrate OpenVAS from one system to
another) the problem started.

ps aux | grep openvas
root 1773 0.0 0.0 112640 964 pts/0 S+ 08:01 0:00 grep
--color=auto openvas
root 2595 0.2 2.6 283288 103596 ? SL Aug21 10:11 openvasmd
root 29355 0.0 0.7 206864 28888 ? Ss Aug20 4:10 openvassd:
Waiting for incoming connections

Actually I am trying to migrate OpenVAS 8 installation from one host to another.
Is there any steps which I should follow?

Deepak Jha

Hi,

I was running openvas8 smoothly on one Linux box (Cent OS 7.0).
I had to move OpenVAS to the vm on another host.

I installed cent OS 7 and OpenVAS 8 using atomic on new system. Copied task db
from old system to new system in OpenVAS db path.
I am able to login to GSA console and see all the tasks and configurations.

But when I try to run scan of host I get error message as below.

Operation: Start Task
Status code: 503
Status message: Service temporarily down.

Deepak Jha
