HI, I don't know if it's still possible to install openvas on rhel 6, you should install rhel 7 and install latest openvas on 8. xltsproc error code 137 usually means that you run out of memory and then out-of-memory killer kills process. How much memory you have on box? Please install at least 3GB physical memory to box..
