The links are not stored. If the certificate changes then anything in the database that uses them must change too.
may i ask why we now store certificates in databases?that makes it so much harder to handle for users, forget you self-sigend commands, just consider CA signed certificates which needs to rotate regulary
sorry but i don't know any other software which does anything else then use the certificate files from a configuration and that's it
