Hello , I have already tried to put the version of openvas as a param,
but the error remains. He tells me that he is trying to install the
version 8

how do you come to that conclusion
"openvas-check-setup" does not try to install anything

but the scanner is too old. For me the problem is that I
have(on the server) centOs 6 and it is too old for install openvas 8. Is
right this?

CentOS 6 don't have OpenVAS8
and hence "openvas-check-setup -v7"

HOW DID YOU INSTALL OPENVAS?
HOW DID YOU INSTALL "openvas-check-setup"

Hello , I have already tried it but if I try to update the

that it is already updated. It could be because I have an older

        of CentOS?

    you have tried WHAT?
did i ask you to update the scanner

i siad read the complete output of the tool
you need to provide the correct version as param

(add '--v6' or '--v7' or '--v9' if you want to check for another
    OpenVAS version)

"openvas-check-setup" shows you how to tell it which version of
    openvas you have installed

"I have an older version of CentOS?" - WHICH one and from where are
    the packages?
