I keep getting the message that the Manager is not running, but the openvasmd process is running. I also cannot tell from operations in the GUI what, if any, effect this is having on operations. ERROR: OpenVAS Manager is NOT running! FIX: Start OpenVAS Manager (openvasmd).
I do see in the following in the /var/log/openvas/openvasmd.log lib auth: INFO:2016-05-26 13h14.09 utc:2370: Authentication configuration not found. Is this a false positive or am I missing something? Online I saw info related to running a -rebuild, but that did not seem to change anything.
