Dear Mr. Tanaka,

if you have no option to switch to CentOS 7 for various reasons, then this may help you:

- stop openvas manager -> /etc/init.d/openvas-manager stop
- go into to folder -> /var/lib/openvas/cert-data/
- delete the "cert.db" file and (if present) also "cert.db-shm" and "cert.db-wal" - reboot the machine and give it around 15 minutes idle time after reboot - after that, log into WebGUI and do a CERT Sync, this should write a new "cert.db".
- make sure the process runs until the end and then you should be fine

Also, note that on CentOS you need to disable "selinux" for openvas to run scans properly.
(you can set this in "/etc/sysconfig/selinux").

Cheers,
Michael (Eissele).
