Hi Winfried Thank you for your answer, I've made the same checks with gnutls-cli but it return that the peer's certificate is trusted and complete the handshake, even if the hostname doesn't match the CN field.
- The hostname in the certificate does NOT match 'localhost' - Peer's certificate is trusted - Version: TLS1.1 - Key Exchange: RSA - Cipher: AES-128-CBC - MAC: SHA1 - Compression: NULL - Handshake was completed Is there a mutual authentication between the server and the mananager ? Maybe it can be some trouble with the client certificate not send or not trusted ? rfritz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Winfried Neessen" <[email protected]> To: "openvas-discuss" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 27, 2016 11:29:37 AM Subject: Re: [Openvas-discuss] Openvas 7 to Openvas 8 : openvasmd rebuild failed to shake hands with peer Hi Romain, > My problem now is when I try to do openvasmd --rebuild, it failed with a " > Failed to shake hands with peer: The TLS connection was non-properly > terminated.
