Hello, Just trying out OpenVAS and having a couple issues. I'll create a second post for the other one as I do not believe the two are related.
The first issue I have is that I cannot get credentials in my targets to work. I've tried both key credentials as well as user/password credentials and they both fail. After I run a scan, in the report I get: It was NOT possible to login using the provided SSH credentials. Hence authenticated checks are not enabled. I can manually SSH into the box in question from my OpenVAS Server using keys or password authentication, I just can't get OpenVAS to do it during a scan. Not exactly sure where to get the version info for OpenVAS. According to the Kali website it is OpenVAS 8. O/S = Latest Kali Rolling openvassd --version = OpenVAS Scanner 5.0.7 openvasmd --version = OpenVAS Manager 6.0.9 Any help is appreciated, Ted
