Never mind, I found that you can set specific permissions on the override itself which makes 'm visible to other groups/users/roles. (Do not 'edit' the override in GSA but click on the Text name which shows the Override details and contains the Permissions for this Override at the bottom)
I think I'll have to change something to give it default permissions because if a user creates another override, I want myself and others to see it as well. But these kind of things need as little effort as possible otherwise they will forget/not do it. (yes, I trust the other users to handle overrides with care) Thijs Stuurman Security Operations Center PGP Key-ID: 0x16ADC048 Fingerprint: 2EDB 9B42 D6E8 7D4B 6E02 8BE5 6D46 8007 16AD C048 Internedservices - a KPN Company Wielingenstraat 8 | 1441 ZR Purmerend | The Netherlands T: +31(0)299476185 | M: +31(0)624366778 W: https://www.internedservices.nl<https://www.internedservices.nl/> | L: http://nl.linkedin.com/in/thijsstuurman Van: Openvas-discuss [mailto:[email protected]] Namens Thijs Stuurman Verzonden: Thursday, November 17, 2016 3:57 PM Aan: [email protected] Onderwerp: [Openvas-discuss] OpenVAS result and NVT overrides OpenVAS users, I am noticing that an override seems to be bound to a specific user? >From gsad I created an override where I do not see anything about this, >basically for example I set a low finding high with: NVT Name HTTP OS Identification Active yes, always yes, for the next days no Hosts Any Port Any Severity Any New Severity Other: Task Any Result Any But when I log in with a different user, there is no override on the NVT.
