did not report the service or the UDP port at all? You can see in a hosts details (after the scan has finished) which open TCP and UDP ports where identified. > I disabled the firewall and did the same scan again - and > OpenVAS found the SNMP service. so i guess this is where you can do further research. Somehow the firewall might block / limit the requests from the scanning machine.
