have a look at the CHANGES file of openvas-scanner-5.1 from OpenVAS9: > * New command line options --unix-socket, --listen-mode, --listen-group, --listen-owner and --gnupg-home. > * Removed command line options --listen, --port, --gnutls-priorities and --dh-params. The scanner is now only listen to a unix-socket and the manger (installed on the same host) is connecting to that unix-socket.
