Hi all, whats the proper process to update the NVTs without interrupting any ongoing scans in OpenVAS9. I'm thinking its the following, but trying to confirm.
# Make sure the opevassd (openvas scanner) process is running and issue the command: greenbone-nvt-sync # Make sure the openvasmd (openvas manager) process is running and issue the command openvasmd --rebuild --progress The question is, will this process interrupt the current scans running, if not, is it the most efficient way to upgrade NVTs?
