Hi, is a laptop, not a server so port 80 is not going to be open inbound.
Does this mean that this way the vulnerability cannot be detected from OpenVAS?

Thanks

Hello,

I've tried thzese optimisation but without any success.
But I remove tasks.db files and launch a new openvas-setup and it solve my
problem without any issues.

have a look at the help output of openvasmd (openvasmd --help) which provides
the following commands:

--optimize=<name> Run an optimization:
vacuum, analyze, cleanup-config-prefs, remove-open-port-results,
cleanup-port-names, cleanup-result-severities, cleanup-schedule-times,
rebuild-report-cache or update-report-cache.

vacuum and/or analyze might be the commands you're looking for.

Hi,

I am trying to scan a Windows host that I know is vulnerable to INTEL-SA-00086
I saw this so I believe that the scan should give positive results:
https://vulners.com/openvas/OPENVAS:1361412562310812221
However, despite I am running the latest NVTs, I don't see the vulnerability
trigger.
Any idea why?

Thanks in advance.
