I noticed the script in ping_host.nasl invokes "exit(0)" if the following
preferences --"Report about unreachable Hosts" and "Mark unreachable Host
as dead (not scanning)" -- are not selected.
I have to set one or both of the previous options to "yes" in order to ping
the target host and execute the script entirely.
