Hi, I have installed openvas9 from https://launchpad.net/~mrazavi/+archive/ubuntu/openvas and smbclient in Ubuntu 16.04LTS.
I wrote it down here how I installed it. https://sadsloth.net/post/install-openvas9-sqlite/ And I can't get scans with credentials to work. It used to work on my lab server, that was installed "in the same way" :) The clients are Windows 7 and Windows 10. Both with SMB1 disabled. (worked on the last installation) I have tried with firewalls and av off. The only thing i get that seems odd: SMB Test with 'smbclient' -> Error getting SMB-Data -> PROTOCOL NEGOTIATION FAILED: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_RESET But from what I remembered I got that even when the credential enabled scan worked? Any ideas to troubleshoot this behavior, logs, manual tests from cli etc? -- Regards Falk
