yes, this was discussed on openvas-devel.
Stjepan submitted a large patch that uses the GLIB functionality
for 64bit cleanness.
However, openvas-plugins ist not branched yet as it is compatible
with both, OpenVAS 1.x and 2.x.
I think, we should first get the patch into the other modules and
see how it all works out before migrating openvas-plugins.
