Hello Jan,

If report_paranoia
   exit(99);

Is this how it is going to be?

Chandra.

Subject: [Openvas-plugins] Special exit code to mark non-vulnerable

Hello,

to prepare support of False-Positive elimination it makes sense to introduce
a special exit code for NVTs, e.g. "99".
The scanner could then store this information in the KB which then is
reported to the manager.

Such a return code wouldn't affect any earlier version of the scanner as it
is ignored.

Any concerns with adding handling for a special return code?

Best

        Jan
