Hi, it is now OK to use error_message() directly in NVTs to provide details on an error that occured during a check.
This will end up in the databse of OpenVAS Manager and from OpenVAS-7 on are directly viewable in the web interface in the results browser section "Errors". So, if a NVT runs into a problem, don't just exit silently, but consider dropping an error message about the problem.
