As far as I understand, no.  This is part of the client setup routine
which is really "static as soon as the session data structures inside
OpenVPN are fully set up".

I think it might be somewhat complicated to get right :-) - this code is
not the most easy to understand bits of OpenVPN.

Otherwise, it's somewhat of a niche feature, which might be why nobody
asked for it before...
