May I suggest getting including the Fedora and EPEL package maintainer instead? (Cc'ed) I'm generally sceptic to such "external" builds. With a Fedora account, it's fairly easy to get those packages built in a more controlled environment and better ensuring a trust level of these packages. Basically just to upload the src.rpm and you'll get it built for all arches instantly. There is also Fedora Copr [1] which allows you to setup share builds in repositories hosted in the Fedora infrastructure. I don't know the consequences of upgrading pkcs11-helper on EL6 and EL7, as I don't know which other packages may depend on it. But if the risk is low, I should be a fairly straight process of getting it updated. Jon: openvpn-2.3.5 depends on pkcs11-helper-1.11 for PKCS#11 smart card support.
