Hiya, looking for tricks with Tunnelblick here - I have users that should be able to import new .ovpn configs onto their Macs, but that do not have admin privileges. They are not supposed to install configs for other users, just for themselves (and effectively these are "single-account Macs", plus "corporate admin account").
Right now, this requires an admin to approve installation of .ovpn configs whenever the user cert expires and the new year's ovpn is due - which is annoying our admins, given that we have a shiny web tool so users can create and download the .ovpn on their own, just not install them... Now the actual question: is there a way to install Tunnelblick so that users can add/delete their own VPN profiles without admin rights? (*This* could be done by the admins, as the initial MacOS install is done by them anyway :-) ) gert -- USENET is *not* the non-clickable part of WWW! //www.muc.de/~gert/ Gert Doering - Munich, Germany g...@greenie.muc.de fax: +49-89-35655025 g...@net.informatik.tu-muenchen.de
