Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. A few thoughts, below.

That's funny. [R. Morris] Sort of … not so funny once you get 6 or 8 hours in … ;-). Works great, thanks! And with admin rights, it properly pushes my routes (that were broken with non-admin). Thanks for testing. I am not sure whether distributing the GUI with "requireAdministrator" would be broadly acceptable. I don't use this GUI, so no personal preference here. [R. Morris] Understood, and agreed. Perhaps a config or install option, let the user decide? I do like the routes that it fixes, but I also know that others won’t want that (admin). I want to get in to the GUI, but I sort of realized – not sure where to go from here. Is the plan to move to NSSM, or something else? It does impact the GUI of course. I plan to continue using NSSM to start openvpn.exe on boot + MI-GUI to control it, the latter running as user. That fits well with the way we use our windows systems --- users work with limited privileges, changing configs needs admin privilege. [R. Morris] Sorry for my stupidity – but MI-GUI? Can you point me at this – I’ll take a look at that as well. It would be useful to have support for such usage in the official GUI. MI-GUI works well, but using the one packaged with OpenVPN would makes it easier to keep updated. But I've no GUI programming skills. its nice to see people like you show interest in improving the GUI. [R. Morris] Understood – makes sense. Cheers, Selva
