Problem: I have some deployed machines that fail to connect to the network in a timely fashion (I assume for environmental reasons). Tinc is running happily, but there is no connectivity.
How to manually fix it: However, once the machine is confirmed to be connected to the network, restarting tinc fixes the issue every time. What I think I need to fix it: Question: does anyone know of a pre-existing script or configuration within tinc itself, that if it cannot ping a given IP address, we can restart the service? Ideally, it would be a separate script so that it's not reliant on the tinc service itself. Unless, of course, there is a config setting that does restores connectivity in just such a situation...
