without touching the defaults, one way could also be to disable RS *after* interface creation, but *before* bringing it up. The RS packets are sent when the interface self configures itself after being brought up, so this should avoid sending such packets. The only problem is that I believe you can’t tell OpenVPN to keep the interface down after initialisation. Cheers, -- Antonio Quartulli
