Hi

I subscribe to a commercial VPN service.

My operating system is Ubuntu and I use OpenVPN 2.4.6 (community edition).

In the OpenVPN connection log, there is a warning:

WARNING: 'cipher' is used inconsistently, local='cipher AES-256-GCM',
remote='cipher AES-256-CBC'

Should I be concerned? Which cipher will ultimately be used? Is it AES-GCM or
AES-CBC?

Based on my understanding after reading some articles on the internet, AES-CBC
is weak and vulnerable to hacks.

Thank you for clarifying the above.

Javier
