Hello @ all

I got an note/error message when starting OpenVPN on the client and when establishing a connection. It was a problem with the certificate (RSA-EC).

The problem was quickly solved with the parameter "remote-cert-tls server" in the client conf. My question is whether now in addition or corresponding in the server-conf also "remote-cert-tls client" must or should be set.

it is not a requirement , but it's often good practice to do so. And I guess it depends on the kind of client-side certificates ? I've not heard of a *requirement* to set 'remote-cert-tls server' before...

HTH,

JJK
