Hi,
I rotate rsyslogs via logrotate. Everytime I do so OpenVPN (2.5, FreeBSD
12) OpenVPN stops logging. I tried killall -HUP openvpn but
Jan 20 17:15:01 BSDHelmut openvpn[27162] SIGHUP[hard,] received, process
restarting
Jan 20 17:15:01 BSDHelmut openvpn[27162] cd to '/var/openvpn' failed: No
such file or directory (errno=2)
Jan 20 17:15:01 BSDHelmut openvpn[27162] Exiting due to fatal error
I then found a link mentioning SIGUSR1 is the way to go which works for me.
Before I implement that, is that the way to go to restart a chroot'ed
OpenVPN?
