Hello,
I am trying to monitor the user activity on OpenVPN server using the status files. And sometimes I have "CLIENT_LIST,UNDEF" instead of the certificate. After a couple of minutes they disapear. The logs look like this: Invalid username in line CLIENT_LIST,UNDEF,10.10.10.10:1078,11.11.11.11,,260892153,103724974,2023-10-24 14:06:45,1698145605,vpn_user,336986,336,AES-256-GCM Invalid username in line CLIENT_LIST,UNDEF,12.12.12.12:1195,13.13.13.13,,90397007,614253745,2023-10-24 08:12:37,1698124357,vpn2_user,1155,134,AES-256-GCM [server]# openvpn --version OpenVPN 2.5.7 x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH/PKTINFO] [AEAD] built on May 31 2022 library versions: OpenSSL 1.1.1k FIPS 25 Mar 2021, LZO 2.08 Originally developed by James Yonan Copyright (C) 2002-2022 OpenVPN Inc <mailto:sa...@openvpn.net> Also I have in logs a lot of UNDEF messages: Oct 24 18:02:00 openvpn openvpn[111111]: vpn-user-25834/2.2.2.2:45381 TLS ERROR: local/remote key IDs out of sync (1/2) ID: [key#0 state=S_START id=1 sid=555036c4 51130b51] [key#1 state=S_ACTIVE id=7 sid=555036c4 51130b51] [key#2 state=S_UNDEF id=0 sid=00000000 00000000] Oct 24 18:02:49 openvpn openvpn[111111]: vpn_user:57417/3.3.3.3:1195 [UNDEF] Inactivity timeout (--ping-restart), restarting If you need any additional information, please let me know and I will provide it.
