Then rename it to openvpn-server@${YOUR_SERVER_CONF_FILE_NAME}.service Then make your changes. "YOUR_SERVER_CONF_FILE_NAME" does not include the .conf file extension. Starting/stopping etc will then use the new file for that specific server and not change the upstream file.
