The openvpn.service unit file is a Debian specialty; not supported by
the OpenVPN community. And the [email protected] approach is also
deprecated by the community - as it does not behave identical across
Linux distributions.
Please migrate to use the [email protected] and
[email protected] unit files. They will in most cases
behave better.
