Hello This is about the OpenVPN-app by A. Schwabe for an Android-Client.
Is there a way to specify the parameter “proto udp4” for the “Advanced- Section ->custom options as predefined param in an x.ovpn configuration for an Android client? Without this parameter, I get the error e.g. “IPV6 Permission denied” when attempting to connect. The connection works with this manual parametersetting; it’s just that the parser generally ignores it when importing the n.ovpn file. And I wanted to use the n.ovpn file precisely to avoid having to enter all manually. The problem is, that this involves the interaction between a dual-stack server – where IPv6 is specifically disabled – and an mobile LTE client that may receive IPv4 or IPv6 or both from the DSL provider.
