Hi, because Mark mentioned this one before and I already have an implentation... The basic idea to deal with (at least some of) the JSF2 scope annotations is to map some of them to the existing scopes in CDI. The delegation of context retrieval was necessary, because the contexts are not active during application startup time, so direct retrieval of them from the BeanManager had resulted in an exception. JSF specific scopes like flash- or viewscope are still todo.
And just because I had read about this in the weld list: Are there any existing plans how to deal with (portable / nonportable) CDI extension in the OWB project? br, Sven
