A "store" is usually a a short designation for "workitem store", you
may think of it as a "workitem list", a "worklist", a "tasklist".

A "fei" is a "flow expression id". Think of it as a "unique identifier
for a workitem". (it's in fact a unique identifier for a atomic piece
of business process instance, usually, when found outside of the
workflow engine, it's the flow expression id of a
ParticipantExpression).

Why don't you write it ? Don't ask yourself what the community can do
for you, but ask yourself what you can do for the community.

Meanwhile, your questions are welcome on this list.

Haven't you read the quickstart ?
http://openwferu.rubyforge.org/quickstart.html

It's a good starting point, and it doesn't mention any "store" or "fei".

Instead of complaining about the cryptic nature of the documentation
why don't you tell exactly which point in it you don't understand
(links, links) so that we can go and fix/enhance the doc ?

An open source attitude will be much appreciated, meanwhile, as
already said, questions are welcome, best regards,
