not a silly question at all. I could reproduce your issue (on a blank
ubuntu system) and fix it :

I then proceeded and got a working system (beta).

Thanks for reporting this, I have been working on ironing out this
install with Torsten and this "no such file" is a consequence of our
tinkering.
