No worries, I still have to do all the rack related stuff, middleware for
authentication (both simple auth and the newly contributed auth to
ruote-rest). Features, specs, phew, gonna be busy :)

Here is a snippet from our IRC conversation on the topic:

<kennethkalmer> wanna bounce this gem thing around a bit? it is kinda
chicken and egg stuff
<jmettraux> :) nicely said
<kennethkalmer> (external parts)
<jmettraux> 1 external gem or many external gems ?
<kennethkalmer> i think many
i know, looking at dm-* it's a mess
<jmettraux> ruote-x
<kennethkalmer> but I can also understand it
let new externals come, and old ones die
<jmettraux> true
<kennethkalmer> let them follow their own evolutionary path
<jmettraux> +1
<kennethkalmer> otherwise you'll end up releasing ruote-2.X.X.X.XXXX every
day almost to catch bug fixes :)
<jmettraux> so what will be your first gem ?
<kennethkalmer> ruote-amqp, ruote-xmpp, ruote-nanite
<jmettraux> ok
<jmettraux> so OK for ruote-x
<kennethkalmer> great !
