Hi Asier, Many thanks for the TODO.
We did something similar with ruote-rest project and glassfish in the past. It worked pretty fine (well, the rackup part was special, since good'ol'ruote-rest wasn't a Sinatra app), but we faced a problem we still haven't solved. The thing is that when you stop the application server, we can't access the workflow engine and invoke the methods for a graceful stop (via :INT signal). Right now the only way for us to go is using a URL like "/engine/off" that invokes all this methods. After that, we can stop the application server. Do you know a better way to face this problem? We posted a (yet unanswered) discussion about this in the JRuby-Rack forums[1] -- Another thing we'd like to try is LifecycleListeners[2], but we have only a drafty, non-working implementation of this interface :-( [1] http://kenai.com/projects/jruby-rack/lists/talk/archive/2009-06/message/2 [2] http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-4336/beamc?a=view Best regards. Nando and Gonzalo.
