Hey again.

I'm an idiot! I totally forgot that we have the system deployed on 2
servers (with the same configuration), BUT, one uses a local redis,
the other uses a remote redis, and it happens on both servers! So the
problem is somewhere in the gem setup...

I'll try and isolate it by updating only one gem at a time (as much as
possible)! Hopefully we can at least find out whether the problem is
in ruote or in redis-rb...

I'll keep you updated!
