Hello Farrel,

No, the LocalParticipant is here to stay, it's very useful when doing things
like

  class MyParticipant < PassiveRecord
    include Ruote::LocalParticipant

    # ...
  end

Behind the scenes, Ruote::Participant includes Ruote::LocalParticipant.

Two things that could get deprecated are #consume and #cancel (replaced by
#on_workitem and #on_cancel respectively), but there's really nothing wrong
with having them around for one or two years more.
