Hi James,

I haven't tried to run openwisp2 on FreeBSD or any other BSD.

There are no instructions for a manual install process, but the
instructions contained in ansible-openwisp2
<https://github.com/openwisp/ansible-openwisp2> are in my opinion
appropiate, you just have to change what FreeBSD does differently.

When reading the tasks in the ansible role, you should start from this file:
https://github.com/openwisp/ansible-openwisp2/blob/master/tasks/main.yml

The group of tasks tagged as "apt", "supervisor" and "nginx" surely need to
be readapted for freebsd, while the group of tasks tagged with "pip" and
"django" can probably be reused straightaway.
