Hello everyone, - Full name: Edoardo Putti - Country: Italy - email: [email protected] - git profiles: - https://github.com/EdoPut - http://projects.lilik.it/u/edoput.lilik.it/projects - phone: pm me
I'm a math student at the University of Firenze and I'm currently enrolled in master in mathematics. I have contributed to open source projects before, mostly with Mozilla. I am still interested in the free web but I expanded my interests to open source in general. You can find most of my reported bugs on bugzilla [1] and what ended up in Firefox here [2]. I mostly work on documentation (MDN) but I did also something for education and teaching how to write webapps [3] for Firefox OS and the web in general. I have little experience with openwrt but I have access to different devices (x86, ar71xx) and I'm (hopefully) working on installing a node with the Firenze's Ninux group. As the major difference with a linux distribution is UCI I feel confident that I can overcome most linux problems that will happen. As an example this [4] is what I was doing in 2015 on my PirateBox (a custom OpenWRT). I am interested in working on the OpenWISP project as it happens that our local Ninux group use it and I think it is an interesting piece of software. We are currently trying to improve infrastructure reliability so the OpenWISP controller is a big step ahead. Here is my draft proposal [5] to extend netjson diffing from networkgraph to configuration [1]: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&emailtype1=exact&emailreporter1=1&email1=edoardo.putti%40gmail.com&list_id=13514054 [2]: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1121896 [3]: https://leanpub.com/guidavelocesviluppofirefoxos [4: http://www.edoput.it/piratebox/tutorial/2015/08/27/a-decentralised-tracker.html [5]: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y4uBoFvcusjp-AG3J6-GrXrqrs4ONWqXkYg9EQJ3ZBY/edit?usp=sharing -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenWISP" group.
