I'm a math student at the University of Firenze and I'm currently enrolled
in master in mathematics.

I have contributed to open source projects before, mostly with Mozilla. I
am still interested in the free web but I expanded my interests to open
source in general. You can find most of my reported bugs on bugzilla [1]
and what ended up in Firefox here [2]. I mostly work on documentation (MDN)
but I did also something for education and teaching how to write webapps
[3] for Firefox OS and the web in general.

I have little experience with openwrt but I have access to different
devices (x86, ar71xx) and I'm (hopefully) working on installing a node with
the Firenze's Ninux group. As the major difference with a linux
distribution is UCI I feel confident that I can overcome most linux
problems that will happen. As an example this [4] is what I was doing in
2015 on my PirateBox (a custom OpenWRT).

I am interested in working on the OpenWISP project as it happens that our
local Ninux group use it and I think it is an interesting piece of
software. We are currently trying to improve infrastructure reliability so
the OpenWISP controller is a big step ahead.

Here is my draft proposal [5] to extend netjson diffing from networkgraph
to configuration
