Hello everyone,
this week I have made refinements on various fronts but most important I
finished the wpasupplicant configuration part.
This has been a lot of work, both on converter and the software testing as
there are many different values to track (keep in mind that I have to reset
the antenna every time I want to read a different configuration). On
Tuesday I finished this and it's always complying with the expected output.
I also worked on the static routes definition with Gabriele, a ninuxers
from Firenze, and on Wednesday afternoon the routes converter was finished.
The important part to understand is that there has always to be a route on
the management intefaces, even if the user does not specify one.
So Thursday has been a day of bugfix and reading configuration from the
antenna to see if our assumption where holding true. I also tried with
uploading the configuration to the antenna from the web interface instead
of using ssh but it failed miserably without any useful warnings.
And to finish with the latest news this morning I added a new key to the
netjson schema. nemesis and I agree that if you write your netjson
configuration you know if you want a bridge or a router, the software not.
So from now on you can specify
{
"netmode": "bridge" or "router"
}
and I don't have to do more work on that.
Enjoy the weekend
