Hello everyone, This week was mostly refactoring and modifcations made to the codebase. I added some tests for the interfaces file to bring up the coverage. I have started with cleaning the codebase a bit and work on documentations for the first release. The backed now has multiple renderers i.e. it each jinja2 template generates a seprate config file. I pretty much coverd the different radio settings and the backend can now generate config for modes upto 802.11ac. Since Raspberry Pi 3 does not have a dual band onboard wireless card, 5ghz modes needs to be tested. The Raspberry Pi 3 does not support WDS mode, 802.11s, monitoring modes, etc. Thus i was blocked to test any of those modes. So I will be getting a dual band wireless usb adapter and test them over the weekend. Today I have started to improve the jinja2 templates. And also gone through the OpenWrt backend to figure out how to generate tar.gz file. I will have to increase my pace to be on schedule to complete my goals for the second evaluation.
Have a great weekend ! Ritwick DSouza -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenWISP" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to [email protected]. For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout.
