Hi James, no, that's not planned yet, the timing for the release of django-loci was a bit unlucky because the django channels 2.0 release came just a bit after django-loci was released.
The good thing is that there are some basic automated tests in place so if anyone is acquainted in migrating to channels 2.0 it should be doable with a reasonably limited amount of effort and that would be very welcome!
