Hello, I'm would like to share some image configuration parameters across several target platforms. For example we're currently duplicating entries within target/linux/tqm86x-2.4/image/Config.in and target/linux/adm5120-2.6/image/Config.in. For instance the number of DSL lines is configurable (from my perspective ;-) ). A simple router has just one DSL line, for a line card I've to configure the DSL driver for multiple lines.
What is your suggestion, to add a "virtual" target which holds configuration parameters for multiple target platforms?
