I'm working in order to add the eglibc support. Actually I produced some
patch that permit to compile (just compile) a build for a powerpc target
with the following limitations:
- the /Clean macros should be corrected;
- I tested only the powerpc target (that is the better supported target
by eglibc)
- the base-files package needs modification in order to copy the
correct glibc so files
- the Makefile should be cleaned to eliminate my attempts to achieve
the compilation end without errors
- openssl doesn't compile and I don't undertand why
("toolchain-powerpc_gcc4.2.4/lib/libc.so.6: ELF file data encoding not
little-endian")
I would like if anyone can help me to create a good set of patches
(hoping to see them integrate into the mainline...).
